... been a bit of a mad month (well April was!!). Had a very impromptu trip to New Zealand to see a sick friend who had been told she had only weeks to live (she is okay for the moment though) and also the night before I left found out my FIL was not going too well with his fight against melanoma. :-( Took a trip down to Nelson with the kids while I was in NZ to catch up with him and his family too which was nice. Really enjoyed the few days with them. I also got to catch up with my gorgeous sisters and their children and some of our friends. After two weeks of being away I came home to a huge backlog of Graphics homework which I am only just starting to get under control!
Here is some of what I have been doing in the drawing side of things for my course...
This is a poster we had to do starting with a collage, then converting it to grey scale and sketching it. Then we had to use it in a poster for a play.

My design projects are mostly in Illustrator or InDesign so I haven't organised them to be small enough or in the right format to display here (which may or may not relieve you!)
And these are some photos I took in NZ....
Belle with Katrina (her half aunt who is 9 days younger than her!). Get on really well together which is nice for them.
Jack thought it was a great idea to take the Guinea Pigs out of their cage and get into it himself!
Jack with his Poppy and Svete who he has wrapped around his little finger. Nice that they adore him so.

Poppy giving the girls cuddles before bed.

Jack riding Sugar at Hamiltons Gap on the Awhitu Peninsula with the help of Meagan.
Belle learning to ride a little motorbike.
Anyway thats all for now. Have a Happy Mothers Day!
